We had another fun day today, we visited the White House - where we spent most of our time enjoying the horse statues in the various rooms open to the public and best of all the squirrels on the grounds. We went to Hotel Washington for a nice breakfast and enjoyed an amazing view of the mall. We went to U street (which is not quite a trendy shopping area, but will be soon) and decided to head over to Georgetown for a nice lunch at Dean & Deluca and some wandering about... We spent some time exploring the Georgetown campus where K enjoyed running up and down the ramps and climbing in the stairs while getting in the way of college students... We even got her to sit in her stroller on the walk back to the hotel while we sang Old MacDonald. Every time we asked her what animal should be on the farm - we were told horses!!! The weather has turned around and now it is in the mid 70s!
Pmogi and I have been having fun (we went to Kramers last night for a dessert and late night book run and met a friend tonight at Teaisms so she could meet K and we could catch up. very nice!)

I am laughing about the comment above mine BUT....it looks like you guys are having a blast! K is getting so big and I love the new pink shoes. Hopefully we will see you soon!
