few things

Funny little things:

K now knows her name and will say K when you ask her whose dress is this etc. Before she would just stay quiet when asked her who did this or who is this. She also can identify herself in pictures.

She now calls dada daddy. Mama is still Mama or MOM!

She is very into Halloween. She loved the pumpkin patch yesterday and continues to look for boos (pumpkins) everywhere. We have to get her a costume this evening. The one store we went to yesterday was sold out last night. Yikes! She eats with the pumpkin that Grandma brought home a few weeks ago and tries to give it water, oatmeal etc. We asked her wants she wants to be for Halloween and she said a giraffe or a cat. Two of her favorite animals.

On Saturday Grandma was over for her weekly Sat visit. When Grandma wanted to take her out for their standard walk, Kaitlin asked to be held and I asked her what was wrong she told me Grandma walk… We are still in a mommy period.

Today when we did the school drop off she didn’t cry. She was so busy doing things she didn’t even focus on me when I held her to sing.

We are in a no phase. Almost every question receives a no. Do you want ice cream? No. Do you want to go outside? No. Sometimes she realizes what she is missing out on and follows up with a quick yes!

Excited about Halloween tomorrow!
