day two

Day two: no tears. K was a bit quivery and nervous for today's school drop off. We went out to the swings and I started to push her and about two minutes in she told me bye bye and I gave her a tickle and left. I didn't hear any tears all the way to the car.

We have been reading this book called Lily's big day. K is a huge fan of Lilly and is asking for boots with stars (Lilly has boots with stars!) I saw some nice cat boots a sure win with our kitty lover girl and will take her to see if she will keep them on so she can be like Lilly.

We have had early mornings (we meaning tmobro and kgoose) and so I got up early to hang out with them today. T decided to relax on the couch until K decided he needed some water during his nap and figured out how to empty her sippy cup of a few sips of water into his mouth while he was sleeping!! Needless to say he was rather surprised.

We decided to make cookies last night (it was so cold out) and the first few batches were going in while K was getting ready for bed. She must have been able to smell them because as soon as we finished the milk she asked to eat and this morning asked to eat within moments of being up. The sugar radar is high. She was deligted to eat a cookie that a horse might like as we had oatmeal cookies. She thinks everyone eats oats just like the neigh neighs!
