Running errands is a little more challenging these days

Five weeks and growing

Baby C is growing fast and still a wonderful baby. Sleep is mostly great for a newborn... still sleep deprivation for parents, but I guess they don't come out sleeping through the night... Bummer for all of us! The most impressive thing that strikes us about her is her physical strength. She is really working hard to hold her head up and does so for pretty good periods of time. She even demonstrated great interest in tummy time and tried moving her body at the doctor's office last week... The most impressive thing is how aware of her hands she is... She seems to hold on to things, but could just be a coincidence. Us being parents of course think it is because of her outstanding intellect.

K is still being really good with C. Although she is definitely a bit louder as she transitions to being one of two kids instead of the only child... She seems to be taller this week... obviously time to go shopping for more clothes!

We are all trying to find more time in the day for everything, but hopefully things will get quieter soon. Especially as I finish finals and spring quarter tomorrow... Unfortunately Chloe doesn't have her passport quite yet so we are still trying to pick some domestic adventures for the between quarter break.

Baby C is nocturnal

K pointed out that C is nocturnal. We were starting to agree after three nights of being up every two hours or so.. Last night she did better but who knows if we will see that again.. And we are not talking about it... because after all talking about it doesn't make it so with a baby.
